Doozy Bots

The year was 1991, and a new Kids TV show was slated to air in America that fall.  However, apparently the character stereotypes were deemed to offensive for American culture.  I stumbled upon a clip on Youtube today by accident, and I almost wish I can take it back.  There’s something eerily familiar about these “Doozy Bots”.  See if you can figure out what it is by watching the video I posted as I don’t want to spoil the surprise.

Sunrise Crusade

Not to be confused with the Crusade Against Sunrise, Sunrise Crusade is a spinoff of the Gundam War card game featuring cards from a number of classic Sunrise series.  I only found out about this by accident the other day while searching on my favourite website for Gundam War and Lycee cards.  Currently it has one full set and the 2nd one was just released, but there are no pictures I can find online of it yet.  It’s a relatively new game and appears to follow the same ruleset as Gundam War, so I think the cards can be used along with it.  I have some of the key cards from the first set here though, which I thought I’d post some pictures of for the hell of it.  Hopefully people enjoy the artwork (which I think it pretty damn good).

Gundam 00 Episode 21 (Path of Ruin)

 

We begin tragically this episode as Saji is forced to unzip the body bag of the now confirmed dead Kinue Crossroad.  As a really depressing Violin and Piano combination song plays in the background Saji weeps for his beloved older sister, his last familial tie.  He is all on his own now, or as I am apparently supposed to understand it, gone emo (which I think is entirely the wrong attitude to have about his situation).  If I suddenly lost my girlfriend and then my parental guardian I would be broken up too.
