Apparently, vodka means water is Russian, but that still doesn’t give a reason for the lesbianism (not that I mind much) *rolleyes*
My overall impression with this second installment of the series was: More violence, sex and gore ftw! ![]()
Being heavily induced with a 90′s theme, this series is really living up to being dark, violence and most noticeably in this epsiode; sexy.
The story is moving along pretty nicely and done in a fashion where a mini arc such as this reveals important hints for the overall story. At least those who moaned about there being too much questions tossed about in ep 1 have nothing to say here, with more about Rin’s special condition being revealed, that being why she is immortal. Mimi (her lesbian sidekick) is also an immortal which gave another pleasant surprise.
This was all mixed in with a good helping of sex and gore (or both at the same time) which did give a new direction on things, but for other times it was rather over the top. The triple combo factor (violence, sex and gore) as I like to call it is still as shocking as ever, especially the implied sex scenes ~ phew it’s getting hot in here (and I think that was probably the fasted I’ve ever moved to turn down the speaker volume ).
Another bit of important plot development was revealing the male “angel” counterparts compared to the female immortals. They release a unique presence which attracts female immortals such as Rin and then eat them up. Needless to say, the angels are a natural enemy for Rin.special demonic pheromones which renders female immortals helpless towards their charm
The story/plot/mini arc itself this time was fairly standard. I must say that I thought the previous episode had more impact, rather than looking at stamp collecting through to flesh eating angels. The two made little connection which was why I didn’t feel that much impressed compared to the first installment.
Though we do officially have an ” evil boss to smite by the end of the series”. That can only be a good sign ^^

“16 bit, 40Mhz, 128MB RAM and 300MB hard disk PC piece of HAXX!”
They just don’t make PCs like they used to…

By far, the creepiest scene.
no comments huh?
