Hilarious! And I thought that carrot soup would have been top on the list for good eye sight but instead they resort to using exotic and frankly not the best methods (though I am one of the few who loves cod liver oil…mmm).
Thoughts: So this episode was focused on the “ghost” of the strike witches team, Sanya. Sanya is quite a stereotypical shy girl type in terms of the anime world if you think about it. She rarely talks, is more of an outcast than anything and even claims herself to be a ghost (now that is something special). But still somewhere down the line she get a best friend who is also quite protective, that would be Eila.
Yet in another way, Sanya holds around her quite a mysterious aura which is overshadowing a somewhat tragic story. The melody given to her by her father is possibly the only comforting factor to her even though she does have friends it is the same old story again, “I am alone”. But thanks to the loving care of both Yoshika and Eila we have another soul who finally realises that “she is not alone”.
I can say that it was a nice episode though. Episodic like the previous ones but still good in its own right. I do hope we will get more to see Sanya but if I didn’t know better she is another character who will be fading back into the background soon enough (even more so being the ghost). Her friend, Eila had a personality quite the opposite of Sanya. In fact she has a thing for the girl perhaps out of pity but I suspect mostly out of her yuri urges.
As usual, the yuri jokes are plentiful and enjoyable to watch. Nothing beats the antics that Perrine get up to frankly. To see her trying to “do the right thing” yet failing all the time or end in some hilarious misunderstanding is quite pleasing to the soul *insert evil laughter*.
