What the heck? Have they forgotten how to draw faces?
Now this was awesome and it about damn time that a decent fight has occured in this series. Seriously, kyousuke should have been the male lead of the series, not Akina. Kyousuke is a hundred, no, a thousand times the man Akina could ever hoped to be and he has just stolen the spotlight for me. Strong, honorable and loyal, who wouldn’t want a bodyguard like him?
Thoughts: And as we reach the final episodes for the series it is just great to see that they have pushed it up a gear and showed some significant action without holding back (for the series anyway).
The highlight of the episode has got to be Kyousuke scenes as he totally destroys the street the town to lay a smackdown on anything that gets in his way, and that means flattened marshmallow dino thingy that are still appearing from nowhere. We also get to see why he is so loyal towards the useless Hime and it was really quite a simple story, she saved him and his sister and he is just paying her back by offering his full loyalty. A nice and simple but effective backstory to his character which is fully appreciated.
And to think he can pretty much fight on equal footing with Shinozuka in a fist to fist brawl was just simple epic to watch. It has been a while since I last saw two people fight like that without weapons or over the top powers, it brings back some nostalgia from my dragonballZ days. It was a shame that Akina didn’t provide any backup at all otherwise they would have owned Shinozuka…or maybe it was a good thing that Akina didn’t end up as a hostage…
Other parts of the episode with Hime still lying in bed or rather…being forced to rest in it means making her more injured that what she already is. You’ve got to hand it to Juri for taking Hime out whilst mounted on top of her…damn what I wouldn’t give to have a nurse like her taking care of my wounded body…it would be such a heaven and hell experience.
But them Hime comes to realise that she has been doing things wrong all this time trying to protect the town with the help of the grumpy old man. Well it is a little late but at least she finally got the point in what protecting a town entrails. Though it as just hilarious watching the townsmen getting on top of the marshmellow dino like idiots but then to actually take the thing down was just the icing on the cake. I guess if you do bite their ankles hard enough they will topple over sooner or later…hang on, didn’t THE Hime get her ass kicked by one of those things and now we see them being taken down by a random angry mob who wants their property back? *rolleyes*
And last but not least is Kotoha’s new attack…thats it she summoned a train tank this time and completely owned Enjin in the face (and Tokyo Tower) causing him to be extremely pissed and now he is growing the Nana-go at an alarming rate. Well part of that thanks got to Shota (muhahahahha).
