Anyone remember that Sunrise Crusade card game series I talked about a good while back and posted some cards from? Well a recent check up on the game reveals that not only is it in it’s 8th set, but the Crusade series has also expanded to include Macross as well:

Of course there’s much more and it’s awesome that this is happening now. Hopefully this means we might get to see some of the other mecha series get their own card sets as well besides Sunrise and Macross and that the Crusade series will keep expanding cause it’s awesome. Especially for people like me.
I so want this just because it’s Macross.

The 1st set ‘Voices Dashing Through the Galaxy’ features SDF Macross(TV and Movie) and Macross Frontier. SDFM is Blue and MF is Green.
The 2nd set ‘A Victory Song of Sky and Fire’ will be released in September, and will contain Macross Plus and Macross 7 in Black and Red respectively. Cards for Blue and Green will also be included, notably Roy Fokker and Ranka Lee.
The rules for the game are very similar to Magic the Gathering, with a few simple changes and cosmetic differences.
Macross Crusade is a stand alone expansion to Sunrise Crusade, meaning it can be played by itself or mixed in Sunrise Crusade Decks. The set adds powers and abilities not yet available in Sunrise Crusade, making their inclusion a must for serious tournament play.
I am working producing a translation of the Rulebook- SC is 90% Gundam War, but since the English version of GW is no longer produced or supported, the English rules are no where to be found on the net.
If I end up getting a scanner anytime soon(the wife is thinking of getting an all in one unit that can print photos…) I will probably scanlate the cards (assuming there is any interest)
Abnormal this submit is totaly unrelated to what I used to be looking google for, however it used to be listed at the first page. I assume your doing one thing right if Google likes you enough to put you on the first web page of a non comparable search.
