I can't say I'm to surprised considering how Imagawa has always shown a pentient for crossing over series during his adaptations. He did it with Giant Robo as well. Imagawa has indeed become my favorite director, and I wish for the day he'd do a BONES mashup, something like <i>RahXephon: The Day the Music Died</i>.
