In this weeks episode: bishoujo cannon fodders, randomness and “WTF just happened O.o”
Thoughts: And I repeat…WTF just happened O.o…
Once again, Needless never fails in delivering on the good stuff be it comedy, fanservice or GAR. But just now, it has added a whole new title onto that ever growing list…gore, and while it may not be the most realistic quality of gore, it sure as heck made me cringe a bit. And once again, 20 minutes of this seemed like 2, damn you entertainment!
The first half of the episode was rather relaxing, focusing on Setsuna’s group as they were giving a task which so happened to be one against another rivalling group from the vast cast of girls of Riru’s squad (and here I thought the entire squad only referred to the trio we all love so much). But alas, the rival group proved too petty to be any challenge at all and at the conclusion of the randomness, they were already written off the list. I guess their appearance was purely for fanservice sakes. Speaking of service, there was another character I had my eye on just before the batshit broke out but she too turned out to be a fodder…tche >_>
But asides of the random bishoujo adventure taking up half of the episode, the other half was solid plot development (YES!!!) focused around the sheer insane awesomeness of Adam Arclight (double yes!!!). Despite having a sickly body, he turned out to be a big BADASS when uncalled for as seen when Eve drilled a huge hole in his body and he still survives…feelings tell me that Blade will be up against his strongest opponent and this fight will be brought to us in a “you are fool if you miss it” weeks time. Damn! I can’t imagine what will happen when two truly BADASS GAR characters clash…maybe the universe will implode.
Arclight’s abilities are still relatively unknown but one things for sure, it is horribly creepy what he does (shown below). My mind was simply blown away how gruesome he can be…
