They’re The Knights Of The Round Table They Blog When Er They’re Able

Introducing Your New Code Geass Characters

Well actually no, but not far off.  If people have been paying attention to Newtype releases then they are probably already familiar with the new characters slated to appear in Code Geass R2.  If not right this way.

They ARE The Knight Of The Rounds

And Just By Looking At Which Ones Actually Have Names You Can Tell Which Ones They Want You To Care About

And If You Can’t Tell Already Which One I’m Most Interested About Then This Is Probably Your First Visit Here

Nope Not Important Actually.  All I Know Is She Is Supposed To Have Been Cornelia’s Senpai And She Is In The Code Geass PS2 Game

…..Hey What A?  Yeah It’s Suzau Kururugi Sporting A Frown Unmatchable By Mortal Men (Serious I Don’t Think Your Muscle Tissue Surrounding Your Lip Will Allow You To Frown That Hard) Who Was Apparently Good Enough To Be Promoted Right Up To Knight Of Seven, Thus Passing By Even Cornelia’s Superior.  Word Has Yet To Be Known Whether He Will Face Any Racism Being Among All Pure Blooded Britannian’s

Her Name Is Anya Earlstraim And As The Youngest Knight Of The Rounds She Apparently Is Still Better Than Suzaku At Knight Of Six.  Being A Loli She Does Loli Like Things Such As Wearing Midriff Revealing Clothing, Taking Pictures On Her Cell Phone And Blogging The Days Events On Her Website.  Yes She Outranks Suzaku And Is Also Voiced By Yuko Goto (Mikuru).  Word Is Unknown Whether Sunrise Will Actually Create Their Own Real Life Blog For Her Like They Did For Haruka Amami Of Idolmaster Xenoglossia.  One Last Thing.  My Gut Tells Me She’s Evil To The Core If Nena Trinity From Gundam 00 Is Any Indication On What Sunrise Likes To Do With It’s Seemingly Cutesy And Harmless Characters.

This Guy Is Gino Weinberg (I Wonder If He’s Jewish) And He Comes In Way Up The Chain At Knight Of 3.  Apparently He’s Really Easy Going And Takes A Shining To Suzaku Almost Immediately, Welcoming Him To The Team Whereas The Others Are More Withdrawn And Distant.  He’s Also Voiced By Souchiro Hoshi (Sad Kira), But Doesn’t Look Emo At All.

Knight Of One, The Highest Ranked Knight And Still No Name.  It Disturbs Me That He Greatly Resembles The Sunday Guy At The Place Where I Work.  Not Much Is Known, But He Looks Pretty Manly And Serious.  Plus He Is  Apparently Jerimiah’s Idol And Jerimiah Dreamt Of Being Like Him As Well As Becoming Knight Of One, But Of Course Kallen Took Care Of That Ambition.

And those are the knights we know most about as of now.  There is a little information about Knight of Twelve looking peaceful but being vicious in battle, and Knight of Ten being a loose cannon (you can see both Twelve and Ten in the back beside each other in the first picture I posted) but still that’s it.  The whole situation kind of reminds me of the Temple Knights in Heavy Metal L-Gaim (A Yoshiyuki Tomino directed mecha series that was also by Sunrise) who were gradually revealed over the series run (and the last two in the third OVA) and shown to be the strongest Knights in the Poseidal Military.  As of now we know more about the Knights of The Rounds then the people watching the first episode of L-Gaim did back in 1984, but there are still 5 more to be revealed if there are indeed twelve of them.  That I have a feeling will only happen once the show is under way.

By the way, my favourite is Knight of Six.

So they’re continuing with the Arthurian naming systems. If there’s a Sir Gawain and the Green Knight reference, I will sell all my possessions and donate the proceeds to Taniguchi Goro.

No, but the loli girl Anya pilots a Knightmare Frame named Mordred and Gino pilots one named Tristan. Both are important figures in the Arthurian legend. It’s funny because I was joking with a friend the other day about whether the writers were going to bring in the other Knights of The Round Table. I thought we’d see Percival Galahad, Guinevere, Bors, Merlin, Uther Pendragon, and Tristan. We got Tristan, but I would have expected Percival, Gunievere and Merlin before him. Another point of discussion was that we were going to see Excalibur as some sort of ultimate weapon and the Holy Grail as an artifact of some kind. We’ll just have to wait and see if all of that comes to pass.

The Green Knight also came up in the discussion I had with my friend as well and he wondered if the Gawain was going to have to face an interpretation of him.

The color coordinated capes…are they really necessary?

At any rate, on four of the highlighted Knights:

    – Kururugi Suzaku: I still hate your ass, and the ability to frown that much definitely puts you well into emo facial contortion territory.

    – Miss Anya: Her aura is so pink. I’m sorry Kaioshin, but your advice about potentially killer loli’s is out the window. My guard has already been lowered to this cutie long ago.

    – Sir Weinberg: You look like one of the guys I’d actually like and respect in your bunch, so don’t disappoint me by snapping and going emo down the line.

    – Mr. Knight of One: Prove to me your might by relentlessly annihilating all enemies of Throne Britannia.

Suzaku is going to be the next big daddy of britannia…you just wait for it, the secret is in the frown!

That’s what they do, they get you to lower your guard and bend to their will before they reveal their true form. Not that I don’t mind being baited along and wrapped around their little fingers a bit.

So Mr. I look like Jeremiah with different hair is going to pull a Johann? Joy. Well it is Sunrise so that would make perfect sense to have like Britannian thrones.. now if Gino will just be like Graham I’ll die happy.

    Not Thrones, Knights……

Of The Round Table We dance when ere we’re able, We do routines and chorus scenes
    With footwork impeccable.
We dine well here in Camelot,
We eat ham and jam and spam a lot.
We’re Knights of the Round Table,
Our shows are formidable, But many times, we’re given rhymes
    That are quite unsingable.

    We’re Opera mad in Camelot,
We sing from the diaphragma looooooot.
In war we’re tough and able,
    Quite indefatigable,
Between our quests we sequin vests,
    And impersonate Clark Gable.
It’s a busy life in Camelot,
I have to push the pram a lot.

Holy ****. I actually like this Suzaku. At least he looks badass enough to actually know what he wants without hesitating that much (probably).

Well, aside from the Knights, who seem pretty interesting (though I foresee a possible problem with time management of episodes if they decide to do some backstory stuff on the Knights), I’m curious as to what happened to the confrontation between Suzaku and Lelouch. It’s going to be the most glaring plot hole of the year if they left it at that without explanation.

Usually the fear of not writing well enough, of
receiving negative feedback, or fear of rejection causes people
to dismiss this avenue for marketing. It can be automated, and
done in a way that provides a lot of value to your prospect.
The traffic driven by these attractive offers leads to better conversion rates.
