A rather late entry for this episode due to a crappy and stressful week where some people thought it would be a good idea to put all the deadlines on the same day, figures. But nonetheless we have another drama heavy episode from this series and this week it seems like Rina is finally taking fire from all the crap that her brother has been setting up for her. At least she has finally begun to take action but I rather not have it being presented in this painful manner for her. The title for this week’s episode shows Rina fighting a one person fight against her brother, the pressures of stardom and the bitches. The emphasis of this not being loneliness for Rina (as we all know that she is more than enough capable of bitch slapping anyone who puts her down) but rather the pain of being taunted and laughed at…fight on Rina, I will offer you my full support.
But starting from the beginning of the episode, we first hear some friendly advice from a doctor (and boy do some of these characters here need to see a good one).
Well, what can I say?
Youth and emo don’t mix very well
It isn’t long until we see a glimpse of what this episode will be touching upon when we saw the heading for the newspaper. So at last the dark deal which Eiji have been doing with that other manager comes to light and it doesn’t take a genius to understand the situation. While Eiji is scratching the back of the other manager by giving the Sakura dan bitches a big concert hall to sing in for Xmas Eve, Eiji is also getting his ass scratched by having his weird fetish fulfilled, that is his sick and twisted mind wants to see change around him and to do that he wants to promote Yuki whereas bringing Rina down from grace as fast as possible…
Meanwhile, it seems like Misaki will go into denial and go out with Akira (but I bet she will dump him by the end of the series)
The bastard is playing dumb again -_____-||
Back to business, I can fully understand how unimpressed Rina is with the latest stunt Eiji has pulled and even doing so without her knowing, until it was too late ofcourse. I think the pressures being pushed onto Rina is so unfair since what Eiji is doing her is basically ruining her career (as well as angering her fans with all the bullcrap) for the sake of satisfying his own ego to the point where disowning him would do Rina way more good in the long run.
The devils pact
But the thing is Rina just can’t escape from Eiji’s control since he is her big brother who is calling all the shots. In a deep sense, Rina has always been chained to his brother’s will (well since it was his bright idea to push his sister into this business in the first place) so denying him is rather difficult for her, not to mention how ridiculously sly Eiji is with this quick thinking and manipulative ways. No matter much of a strong and stubbon front Rina puts on show against her brother, in the end she is just fighting a one person battle with no hope of winning. Just notice how her resistance fades not too long after having a conversation with her brother is enough to show her weakness in a psychological sense…she just can’t win against her brother hence making her a tragic character who is always suffering alone. Well this also explains why she longs for Touya as someone who she can cry to and look for support…
Actually…manipulative might be a bit too much…
…of and understatement for this insensitive bastard (and you can bet there are viewers out there who sees him as “awesome”…guh…)
Rina knowing full well what Eiji is trying to do tries to plead to him not to do the same to Yuki as he has done for her. This just goes to show how powerless Rina is in this situation and while she maybe subconciously trying to take Touya away from her, it is understandable that she is still a good friend to Yuki. In this complex situation I can only guess so much how many complex thoughts must be going through Rina in that she is the type who knows the full picture well and is always thinking of way to deal with situations. The amount of stress she must be going through, racking her brains with over thinking…I think she may just snap when it all becomes too much to bear.
From Yuki to Yayoi to Touya…it is the least she could do since they never meet up *rolleyes*
Surely they are not talking about Makoto…
Meanwhile, we have Touya here going on this normal care free business when suddenly he overheards two of the loudest bitches bitching about Misaki’s stalker like a couple of grannies. Sheesh, I just hate these types of people since it is as if they can’t bitch even LOUDER behind someone’s back or for the world to hear in that matter.
Although I won’t be helping this freak either…just look at that glare, he wants to murder Touya
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF~you are really unsightly, please get out of my face
Thankfully, Touya was saved by Haruka but it seems like they on completely different wavelenghts
But I found this scene rather significant to show that Touya still hasn’t forgotten about Yuki yet since the person he was talking about is obviously her. Although I can see that he is still confused about his feelings for Yuki and like a naive teen who is experiencing growth into adulthood (blah blah blah blah) he still has much to learn from experiencing things so I am willing to give him some leeway when he makes little mistakes from time to time…I’m not that harsh and quick to bash him but I still stress on the point of the mistakes being “little”. I mean he shouldn’t be forgiven for doing stuff that even a naive person should know better and he has done in the past. Thankfully right now he has yet to do anymore damage since the focus is elsewhere.
Here it is! Rina’s sign of weakness and longing for someone she can talk to on a deeper level
And I wonder why Yuki didn’t want Rina to take her letter to Touya directly…maybe it is the lack of trust?
Meanwhile the inner thoughts of Touya shows that he is still confused at whether he is coming or going, or going or coming
I think he is still waiting for Yuki to come to him but he should know that that won’t be happening anytime soon if he doesn’t take any action, yet his stubborness or rather lack of initiative shows that he can only wait and the longer he does the less he will be feeling towards Yuki.
OMG! Haruka turned into Rina!
Oh and this is a classic scene where you know where your best friends are at and you can be sure that Akira has finally taken the final turn from being pathetic to damn right disgusting…
What kind of friend says that in such a serious tone? Even if Touya may deserve it I don’t want to hear this kind of thing from someone who isn’t exactly a shining example himself. What Akira had just demonstrated is the “hoes before bros” mentality as well as being a backstabber. Nice going you twit!
You don’t have to brag about your harem >.>
True fans only have one (or two…or three…) goddess(es)
Yuki is only going to preform one song? That will be one HELL of a concert
So this is what Rina meant with negotiations with Touya about being her guard. I think that this short scene was quite significant to show how relaxed Rina can feel being around Touya which maybe why she is so attracted to him. There is this unexplainable aura to Touya which makes in understandable why so easily opens her heart to him. Maybe it is because of his dumbness that Rina doesn’t feel threatened by talking to him, I don’t know…but Touya sure is pushing all her right buttons by being understanding and supportive. Then again this is his usual “nice guy” play anyway…
Inner thoughts speak the truth
Poor Rina, I can just see right through her that she is trying so hard not to cry ;___;
A quick change of heart for Touya?
Meanwhile the official announcement is to be made by Rina herself on the TV. Who knows what this will do for her image but lets hope that her devoted fan base will stick it to the Sakura dan where it hurts.
RAPE FACE!!!!!!!! D:
So this is the stage numbers that rina have to fight against. I have no idea what the decimal values mean but I am taking the bigger values to mean the amount of people that will be attending the individual events. From the numbers itself it seem that the Sakura dan has a huge advantage (screw you Eiji).
Disrespectful bitches >.>
BACKSTABBERS CAN BURN IN HELL!
Understandably after facing such humiliation Rina wants to do something about it but the only person who could make a difference is only her brother. This scene is quite significant to show how useless Rina feels to be depending on her brother since it is a case where she came “crawling back to him” after knowing defeat and humiliation. No doubt Eiji would have a plan to save them from losing to the sakura bitches but I bet it would mean promoting Yuki more whilst using Rina as a stepping stone.
Who was that again?
Meanwhile, poor Yayoi is in a big pinch herself from a certain someone…
Ah, it’s the pig
Who turns out to be a fanboy stalker (instant death flag from me)
And he even had the nerve to try and scare Yayoi? OMG DIEEEEE!
For Yayoi I am not at all surprised that she has fanboys falling over at her heels (in fact I am one of those said fanboys myself), but while Yayoi’s presence is seemingly calm and in control, I also know that she has a warm human side to her character however small. It turns out that I was right but at the same time it is painful to see her going through silent torture just like what is happening to Rina. This time the source comes from another freakish stalker…and just what is with this series and stalkers!?!
Frankly…the fact that she ripped up the wrong letter shows her emotional unstableness (I just want to hug her ;____; )
And for better or for worse, Rina stumbles upon the ripped up letter…what will she do?
Back onto Yayoi and the happy pimp that is Touya, I am rather surprised that he notices that Yayoi isn’t the same as before that is for the above reason. This is more indication of how fragile Yayoi actually is and all the more reason to love her more (for me anyway since I have a major liking for characters of her type). Watching Touya hug her like that pisses me off somewhat since he SHOULD be going out with Yuki, not playing around like this, but on the otherhand if it makes Yayoi calm down a bit I would just have to bear with it.
Whaaaaaa! poor girl ;_____;
And yea…Rina read the letter which seems to be filled with Yuki’s wishes and god knows what more complex thoughts are going through Rina’s head
It’s too late…but what is? Rina’s guilt for having feelings for Touya and betraying her friend? Or is she crying because of the fact that the opportunity to love Touya ever became apparent since Yuki and Touya never showed that they were madly in love with each other? Only time will tell…
Yayoi just realising her mistake
And the final ending shot for the episode with Yayoi’s beauty ^^v
