NEEDLESS episode 11 ~ Frantic turn tables and then some…

Oh I just love how this series always give promises of epicness and epicness plus some is exactly what we got this week. Sweet, sweet GAR mode :3

Thoughts: Right off the bat it was clear that Setsuna’s group was in a whole world of butt hurt when they decided to wake up from Seto’s final judgement attack but this…this was just one sided slaughter and abuse from Blade, Seto and Solva (but mainly Solva dishing out her yangire PAIN upon the others). Pretty much how like it was three on one against Blade, I think it was fair as heck for Setsuna’s group to have a taste of medicine but this was quite borderline cruel…and awesome…and I completely LOVE IT! 😀

The whole entire first fight was simply a slug feast of epic proportions and the adrenaline rush sure did kick in. This was simply a revenge fight for Blade and as they say, revenge is best served with lolis and super powers. I simply loved how creative the fight was with using each individual abilities (most noticeably for me was how Seto used her gravity on the GIANT bear/rabbit that Mio was about to throw and hence crushing her into the ground instead). But I got to say; Setsuna’s group must be immortal or something to be able to withstand that final attack with a hilariously long name, as pointed out by Yamada. Oh and the countless pantsu flashes from Kuchinashi was glorious! If the girl gets defeated, she is going out with style XD

But if you think that the tables have turned on SIMEON oh well thinking again as the second part of the episode reveals quite a shock. No, I’m not talking about Eve switching sides due to the powers of Black Attraction; I’m talking about Blade getting a hole drilled through his chest (Arclight style but unlike him, Blade doesn’t have any regenerative abilities) and the mechanical parts we can see inside the hole. So this means that Blade is some sort of robot terminator style but I wonder to what extent. I don’t suppose being a robot is part of the “ADAM PROJECT” since Arclight looks fully organic himself so I wonder if Blade only had mechanical parts put into him due to previous battle incidents. Interestingly enough, Disk says that Blade won’t die if he borrows the regenerative ability of Eve’s fragment and I’m not sure whether “fixing metal parts” is part of Eve’s regeneration.

Yamada did notice that something was wrong when Setsuna gave up and returned the hostage but too bad he was slow in yelling out to Blade.

On a different note, Uchida manages to embarrass himself by going into imouto-chara mode and his sudden change of heart when knowing that he must fight against Eve…a comrade (or so he fooled himself into thinking XD).

Solva uses her smarts and tries to take out the Black Attraction girl but the bitch (a rather sexy bitch) turned out to be smarter than you think and she didn’t actually appear on the battlefield, it was her hologram. Yamada believed in himself in believing his brain and tells the others to focus fire on Eve until she ran out of energy but once again Setsuna shows that they aren’t amateurs and shows the group Eve’s body-err I mean her nuclear power supply attachment. Simply put, she won’t be running out of energy anytime soon which means bad news.

Overall a great episode. Glad to see the battle under way once from the “break” we had last week and it shows little sign on ending anytime soon. SIMEON’s arc is quite long as I am told so here goes for more pantsu service and bulging muscles :3
