Gundam Unicorn 3rd Trailer (But Wait There’s More)
I’m away only a day and suddenly the last pieces start to fall into place for 2010. At this point I’m not sure what else I can expect from what looks to be an awesome upcoming year that I think will more than make up for the lack of mecha I’ve had to suffer through in the latter half of 2009. With the recent announcement of a new Code Geass project (Trooooolllllllllllllllllls! Come out to plaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!)from Sunrise this now brings the number of new mecha series from Sunrise alone up to 5 with Unicorn, Votoms, Geass and the Gundam 00 and Seed (hrmmm) movies. What a busy year and it hasn’t even started. All that needs to happen is for ghosty to get his new Macross year and I will be ready to prematurely (gasp!) declare 2010 the best year of the century so far. Here’s a list of some other things I’m still looking forward too:
-Final Fantasy XIII
-Eden of The East Movies
-The rest of V Season 1
– Bioshock 2
Looks like I’ll probably be returning to this blogging business full force next year. I’m wondering if I’m even going to have any time to rest at all. In any case time to brush up on my writing and blogging techniques because I almost forget how WordPress even works now.
But I Do Know Who You Are
Over the years there have been a lot of similar character designs in anime, after all there’s only so many ways in which you can give a character a wacky hairstyle and all kinds of accessories before you run out of ideas. What of the ones that seem like borderline copy pasting though. What about the ones that come out in such short intervals between one another that you can’t possibly imagine how one didn’t inspire the other because it was popular. There have been a lot of these, but here are my top 3 personal favourites from over the years. And another present at the end of the entry❤
It’s that time of year again and not, I am not talking about the festival where in english tradition you are roasting chestnuts on an open fire. Even though it is later than usual we are happy to present some thought previews for the coming winter which I am sure will be an entertaining read (if not just for Kaio’s tabits). And as usual I will be getting my lazy self over to THAT blog for their lovely preview images❤

So apparently in an attempt to prove that Canadian politics can be just as interesting as America’s (even though nobody is actually paying attention) it looks like Stephane Dion has finally made a move. Any sort of move that is. What did he do? Well read for yourselves, You’re probably wondering if I still have your attention just what all of that means. Well it’s simple really, Dion, the leader of the Federal Liberal Party of Canada, if you didn’t already know, has signed a coalition pact with the leaders of the NDP and Bloc Quebecois in order to gain enough willing seats in the house to vote down the Conservative Budget during Monday’s session of parliament, which would of course force a confidence vote in which they would put through a vote of non-confidence in Harper’s ability to govern. The Governor-General would then actually have to assign an interim government and because the Liberal’s would essentially have majority support in parliament, this would make Stephane Dion the next Prime Minister until an election is called. Yeah, they can do that in a Parliamentary democracy.

Hmmmm….Kind Of Looks Like The Manga Artwork….
So yeah, as promised, when something important came up in relation to Code Geass I would come back to the table to talk about it and while I know this OST was released quite a while ago, I somehow never got around to taking a look at it. As a priority Code Geass has been kind of low for me recently, hell blogging as a priority has kind of been quite low for me recently due to work and house cleaning getting in the way. Well, what better way to get back into the groove this week then the music related topic I had also promised earlier, and with Geass to boot. Too bad for me this OST is actually a beast (30 tracks)….man this is going to take some time, but it’ll be worth it I hope I’m sure Continue reading ‘Code Geass R2 OST 2 Review’
So a lot of people are probably still wondering why I “ignored a lot of the faults with Code Geass R2” during it’s run. Well there were two reasons actually, one is that I just plain didn’t feel that some of the common “faults” people stated they found with the show actually existed and they weren’t part of my opinion on the show to begin with, and the other is that I just wanted to wait to see if the show would find a way to address some of the faults with it that I did have in some way that would render them moot by the end. This was the case for a few of them, but not for all. So now that the show is over it’s time to spill the beans. It’s not a large list, but here they are: Continue reading ‘Yes I Did Have Some Criticisms For Code Geass Actually, Thanks For Asking’

Time to finish up. Short impressions this week as I really am looking forward to getting the blogging of this show over and watching the sub on my own terms. I figure this is the last episode and I’d like to save the pleasure of the subbed episode for myself. After that I really am taking a vacation as I have nothing left on the table right now that I’m obligated to finish blogging.
