Rewrite ～リライト～, next Key/Visual Art’s game

As people might already have bumped on this news before, there was the announcement of a new game on Key site this 1st april.
Obviously, the timing was pretty much fishy, so most people were quite on the defensive stance.

However, Key doesn’t have the reputation for AF, and it is quite bigger when they involve… Ryukishi07 in their cast as a scenarist. Now, it might be completely crazy, but such an AF involving a third party isn’t exactly something usual, especially that Key announced before they had quite a big surprise for their 10th anniversary.
This is pretty much something lingering, leaving people in quite a shrouding doubt.

Well, we can now rejoice that it is confirmed !
So, right after Little Busters! Exctasy, they are going headstrong on another VN project heh?
That’s quite something welcome, considering how the market doesn’t have something outstanding (Meanwhile, TYPE-MOON is still milking F/SN… how about Tsukihime 2 or another franchise for a change? duh…)

That’s quite some names here. No wonder why it was hard to call head or tails if it was an AF or whatnot ^^.
Ryukishi07 with Romeo and Key combo is not something you would think or dream of.

Well, how it is confirmed? Basically, Hinoue Itaru confirmed it on her mixi blog, while Ryukishi added another picture with
“Key様の新作「Rewrite」のシナリオに参加させてもらいます!!!“,
roughly “I’ll be contributing to the scenario of Key’s new work ‘Rewrite’ !!!”
Since it is way past midnight in japan, the uproar was quite set!
Have a Ryukishi’s Gao !

が、がおっ!? (Ga-Gaoo ?!)

What is the rumble now? Well, we got one of the most sucessful doujin makers, who quite mastered the creepy and mindblowing stories, joining Key, infamous for their peculiar game and such (well most likely due to Maeda Jun’s writing).
If you add Tanaka Romeo in the formula, we got quite a vanilla ticket for an awesome ride.

Obviously, this might lead to way too high expectations, but seriously, there is a gutfeeling that this kind of things will go far.
As a little demonstration, Key site was utterly and chaoticaly down after such announcement. I can’t stress more about how people went completely berserk after Hinoue confirmed the news.

Well.. what this VN will be about with such cast? Obviously difficult, but the name and the premise are quite teasing already.
Saw the little lines on the picture? Well, Time/Space/Dimension loop with a scent of mindcreep and gagle power might rise from there.

if you are wondering, I just modified the logo so it would be clean, obviously, nothing more than the main picture was provided by Key.
